BACK TO COOL

Aritzia Babaton sweater (here) | Zara faux leather skirt | Forever 21 necklace

You might have already noticed from these photos that my hair has gotten lighter with new blended highlights. So I did some tonal dressing to make my new hair colour stand out. Different shades of a single hue creates depth and intensifies the look. Hence, I styled this too-cool-for-school look with a marled grey batwing sweater over a faux leather flare skirt.

THE NEW CLASS

Happy Monday everyone! It's been a while since my last #OOTD and I thank you for continuing to follow my posts. I've been very ill and preoccupied with school and work in the last couple of weeks. But here's a post from yesterday's look at the historic Distillery District housed with heritage buildings of all kinds of boutiques, cafes and delectable cuisines. It was my first time there and I can't say that I won't be back for more.

Being a fashion student, I love to dress up and showcase my personality and personal style in and out of classes. Like this studious look, I styled a knitted sweater over an old boyfriend button-down shirt for a prep-school chic look. Whether you plan on spending your time in the library or meet up with friends for brunch, you'll find this look very fitting for any occasion.

LABOUR NUDES

Club Monaco top (here) | Zara pants | Louis Vuitton bag (here
Kurt Geiger London Bond pumps (here)

Today is Labour Day, the fashion no-no to wear white after this day is an old-age rule. But it all depends on the fabric and the shade of the white. Off-white and creamy colours are excellent choices to add accents to your outfits.

Girly in nude tones, it shows that keeping things neutral can make for a soft and feminine look for early fall. I styled this off-white, skinny racerback tank over an old pair of nude skinnies and stiletto pumps. The nude heels is the most flattering. The sleek colour lengthens the legs for days. The entire outfit is neutralized with a standout red bag.
